Donation & Refund Policy

Policies Terms of UsePrivacy PolicyDonations & RefundsDonation ReceiptYouth Safety & Participants

1. Tax-deductibility & receipts

Youth Growth Network is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 99-2933245). Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation unless expressly stated.

We provide a written acknowledgment (receipt) for your records — see the donation receipt. For gifts of $250 or more, the IRS requires a written acknowledgment to claim a deduction; keep your receipt with your tax records. For your specific situation, consult your tax advisor.

You can verify our status in the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search using EIN 99-2933245.

2. How donations are made

Donations are made voluntarily through Zelle®, using our Zelle tag or QR code shown on the Donate page. Zelle is a third-party payment service operated by your bank and Early Warning Services, LLC. YGN does not process, store, or have access to your bank credentials or card details. Your use of Zelle is subject to your bank's and Zelle's own terms.

3. How funds are used

Donations support YGN's mission and operations, which may include student scholarships, program and mentorship resources, and volunteer and outreach logistics that create more opportunities for students. YGN directs funds where they are most needed unless a gift is designated by prior written agreement.

4. Voluntary and non-refundable

All donations are voluntary gifts and are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error (for example, a duplicate or incorrect amount), contact us promptly at ygnseattle@gmail.com and we will review the request in good faith. Because Zelle transfers are typically immediate and irreversible, refunds cannot be guaranteed.

5. No goods or services

Unless expressly stated, donations are gifts and are not made in exchange for any goods, services, or benefits.

6. Not investment or financial advice

Nothing on the Site or related to donations constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice.

7. Future payment methods

We are evaluating additional ways to give, such as card and online payments through a payment processor. Our 501(c)(3) status and the tax-deductibility of your gift are unaffected by the payment method you choose.
